Pardon...Me Inc. is a non-profit all volunteer based dog and cat rescue (we have only one paid contractor). We "pardon" the discarded unwanted dogs and cats out of local shelters (many of them considered "high kill") and we place them in loving foster homes until they are well enough to be placed into their forever homes.
Most of the dogs and cats we rescue are in need of immediate, short term medical care. We take pride in the veterinary medical care, rehabilitation care and loving foster care we provide for each animal we rescue.

We have taken into our rescue many sick, injured, pregnant, senior and unwanted dogs and cats. We keep all of the animals in foster homes until they are adopted by their forever families. Among the sick and injured are also healthy animals and even some pure-breed dog and cats who are discarded into the system for reasons we can never understand. It is our goal to rehabilitate (through love and medical care) our animals so that by the time they reach "adoptable" status, their history is just that...history.
All animals are fed top of the line dog and cat foods and supplements as needed, spayed/neutered, current on yearly shots, Rabies Vaccinated (if over 4 months), Frontline Plus Application, AVID MicroChipping with Lifetime Membership, and dewormed before being placed in their forever homes. All cats and kittens are tested FIV/LEQ negative.
Pardon...Me Inc. operates from donations received when our animals are adopted, unallocated donations (those you drop in the jar on Sundays!), and food, blankets and potty pads we receive from individuals, and food and toys we receive from Petco's donation program. We very much appreciate each and every donation we receive as those funds are used for medical treatment, surgeries, shots, microchipping, Frontline, deworming, bedding and all of the other expense necessary to take great care of the pets whose lives have been entrusted to us.
Before reaching Pardon...Me Inc., many of these animals have never seen the inside of a home; never felt the warmth of a warm bed to sleep in; never felt the love of a forever family; only to be discarded at a scary, cold and disease-infested shelter. We are committed to never letting them be mis-treated, feel unwanted or unloved again.
